1. Settle in
2. We were going to do an independent reading update, but they talked me out of it. So we chit-chatted the whole period. 

HOMEWORK
1984 Read Ch. 1-3 by Wednesday
👉🏼Monday you will have time to revise/finish your essay during class. 
👉🏼Tuesday we will look at Orwell's humor 🤡
👉🏼We are finishing the book next week. Friday we will have "book club" where you will bring talking points (and food if you want) to discuss the end of the book.
